Gale’s Childhood Pedal Plane
On August 19, 2007 Woodies celebrated our
first anniversary....we had
refreshments, drawings every hour and at 5:
00 p.m. We gave away the Pedal Plane in a must be present to
win drawing.
The winner is Gale Aloisi, who was given a
pedal plane as a child from her
grandfather. Perserverance pays. Gale was
one of our first customers in the
morning, and like most baby boomers who
walk through our doors...one is
accosted with the memories of yesteryear.
She told us all about having one
as a child and how much fun she and had
with it. Gale came back for the 5:00
p.m. drawing and we were thrilled when she
won. She wanted it more than
anyone! She was so emotional with tears of
gratitude, it gave all of us a
warm fuzzy feeling!
Woodies plans on celebrating its
anniversary in the same manner every year
on the Sunday of Concour Weekend.
